Lake Vermilion Community Bash

Join us for Fun and History!

Join us each summer for the Lake Vermilion Community Bash, held on the scenic grounds of Gruben’s Marina at Arrowhead Point. Hosted by the Tower-Soudan Historical Society, this lively gathering brings the community together to celebrate the people, stories, and traditions that define the Lake Vermilion area.

Enjoy wine tasting, trivia games, a silent auction, raffle prizes, historical exhibits, and a food truck serving a variety of culinary treats—all in a relaxed lakeside setting.

This special event highlights the Historical Society’s mission: to enrich the community through education, preservation, and celebration of the rich history and heritage of the Tower-Soudan and Lake Vermilion area through people, artifacts, and stories. It also serves as an opportunity to connect with seasonal residents—an important part of the region’s story—and to share the history that makes this place so meaningful.

The event also celebrates the ongoing work of the Historical Society to preserve and share this legacy. For generations, people have been drawn to Lake Vermilion—and through events like this continue to honor and tell its story.

Gruben’s Marina has been part of Lake Vermilion’s story since 1919, when it was established by the Gruben family. Today, under new ownership, it continues to be a gathering place that reflects both the deep roots and evolving story of the community.

The Lake Vermilion Community Bash is a celebration of that shared heritage—and a reminder of the importance of preserving it for future generations.
